I haven’t visited my “home” Chicago roots for almost 4 years now, but am travelling to attend my 50th High School reunion and have an opportunity to perform at the historic, local Food Co-Op the McHenry County Food Shed Store. Ten+ years ago I had the foresight to buy into the Co-Op membership and now they are a growing gathering space/Community Hub and healthy source of locally grown nutritious food for the McHenry County Community. Come shop the aisles of this groundbreaking store, enjoy local McHenry County hospitality and Food and Beverages from Oak & Alchemy Smokehouse, wood-fired pizza and cocktails while I warble.
