I play many private shows at Assisted Living facilities, the details of which are no longer posted here since they are not open to the public. I also love playing Library s, fundraising gala’s, and house concerts.
Another hour of fun with the kind folks at Hover Greenhouse Community. These are private music hours for the residents and their families and I love playing for them.
This is my 3rd year of hosting these great events at the venerable Old Gallery. Not only does this place ooze with mountain charm, but the artistic nature of every nook and cranny makes it a wonderful venue for these open mics on the 3rd Friday of every month. I put out a sign up sheet by 6pm and music starts at 6:30. I am also more than happy to pre load your name on one of the 15 minute slots if you call my cell 815-526-2017. Come up and share some tunes, play an instrument, read us a poem or make us laugh… looks aren’t everything!!

Wow, we had a ball last year so we are doing it again! Starting off with a pancake bkfst from 9 to 11am at the Hygiene Firehouse and then I will emcee the main stage music from 11am to 8pm. Many of Longmont’s favorite musicians will be there and some great Boulder headliners like Girls On Top!, a high-energy dance band playing the greatest soul, funk, and R&B tunes from the 70’s & 80’s, and MojoMoma will cap the evening with funky blues rock. A second music Stage over at Mountain Fountain Cafe will have music from noon to 6pm and be run by Boulder’s School of Rock students and faculty. Check out details of all the fun events, food and drink planned! Come test your throwing arm and dunk a fireman in the dunk-tank.
This long time center of respite and community warmth offers great beverages and baked goods. Also East Simpsons has supported Lafayette for many years with wonderful local musicians and from the front range. Their newer open mic Hangout series is being hosted by the talented Mike Lamitola and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to play.
Check out this wonderful Mediterranean Restaurant in the heart of Longmont’s Downtown Main St. The head chef Larry and partner Sandy are wonderful hosts of the party-like atmosphere. The selection of wines overseen by Sommelier Roland Hermann are terrific. A conversation about wine regions with Roland is worth the visit alone even before you dine. This fun event will go from 9am to 3pm and I will perform in the heart of it.

I saw some good friends of mine back in Wisconsin on this Open Mic and really like the format of a host helping optimize your sound before the session begins. Then you perform and have a short interview with one of the longtime organizers so it’s a great way to for folks all around the country to get to know you a bit and the context for your music. The Lyons Chamber of Commerce has me and other musicians at Retail locations around Lyons to help increase foot traffic for the shops. It’s been a blast and I love supporting this great little town as a gateway to the Rockies! I have played outside at the Barking Dog before, but the owner Greg is kind and letter me stay warm in a corner of the shop this time. Come enjoy yourself.

I am performing at these monthly events with musicians placed all over Lyons to help businesses with more foot traffic. They have been great during our incredible Fall weather.
