The time is to be confirmed, but this annual fun event with LHAG artists decorating boxes of ALL sizes with the local Longmont Brewery labels that have been decommissioned m The imagination is the only limitation to what these talented artist come up with. The public can bid on a price or pay the artists asked price. I will be running the open mic and we hope to have students from Longmont’s Butterscotch Studios included on the stage. Previously known as Copper Sky Distillery, this cozy spot (with an incredible 20 year Whiskey among others), is hosting live music out of the gate including a Wednesday night jam and every other week Open mic on Thursday nights hosted by Jeff Ulrich. I will be splitting the bill with an artist yet to be determined for a night of Solo acoustic originals. I played at Warrior Soul at the recent open House and it’s a sweet new venue in the heart of Lyons. The intent is to have 40 seats with tiered pricing for 10 VIP upfront seats. Another great, but private song time for the Assisted Living Community!

An annual event where LHAG artists hang their art on panels under the Pavillion and I will perform along with two other Longmont Songwriters. The show is from 1 to 5pm and I will play the first slot. Denny Driscoll will play at 2:35 and Helen Peterson will play at 3:45.

Once again I am thrilled to start the day off warbling and picking for the golfers, diners and drinkers at this nice brunch space on a beautiful golfcourse. Come enjoy a mimosa and brunch while I play some of my tunes and classic pop/folks songs.

I love playing Boulder’s Mapleton Porchfest. An absolutely wonderful event! I have been invited to play again on the lovely porch at 811 Mapleton Ave in North Boulder. I played this same porch last year with about 60 folks enjoying my tunes in the shade. Bring an umbrella for those sunny spots though. 47 Artists playing on host front porches so you just walk the beautiful, tree-lined streets, grab a snack from a food truck and enjoy. I am playing the first slot and then I recommend my friend Bill Palmer playing from 1:30 to 3pm and my Longmont pal Angel Corsi playing the 3rd slot 4 to 5:30pm.

Not only does this place ooze with mountain charm, but the artistic nature of every nook and cranny makes it a wonderful venue for these open mics on the 3rd Friday of every month. I love how putting myself “out there” creates more “out there” opportunities. One gig begets other gigs. A resident of Indian Peaks saw me play at East Simpson’s Coffee in Lafayette back in July and her block Party committee has hired me to play for their party. Hoping for Beautiful September Colorado weather!

My friend Kristin Francis has opened this sweet space to support local artists and musicians with a great venue in the heart of Lyons. Classes, events, education and inspiration will ooze from Kristin’s heart and this great space! I am thrilled to be playing a 90 minute set right after John Sheppard plays his early set.

Another great, but private song time for the Assisted Living Community

After 3 years on the waiting list (SO many great musicians in Boulder), I got my foot in the door at this wonderful county-wide weekly event and did my first gig at the Longmont -Boulder County Fairgrounds back in May. This time I will be at the Mothership in Downtown Boulder. Come bring your veggie bags, stock up and sing along to some familiar classic tunes and some of my originals.

I have been hiking up this beautiful overlook of Boulder for years and decided, “I’m going to do a concert up here”. So I booked the little outdoor concert venue and will be putting out an invitation for my friends and family to come join me for this special intimate solo concert in the mountains. Details to come.

This long time center of respite and community warmth offers great beverages and baked goods. Also East Simpsons has supported Lafayette for many years with wonderful local musicians and from the front range. Their newer open mic Hangout series is being hosted by the talented Mike Lamitola and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to play.

Wow, we had a ball last year so we are doing it again! Starting off with a pancake bkfst from 9 to 11am at the Hygiene Firehouse and then I will emcee the main stage music from 11am to 8pm. Many of Longmont’s favorite musicians will be there and some great Boulder headliners like Girls On Top!, a high-energy dance band playing the greatest soul, funk, and R&B tunes from the 70’s & 80’s, and MojoMoma will cap the evening with funky blues rock. A second music Stage over at Mountain Fountain Cafe will have music from noon to 6pm and be run by Boulder’s School of Rock students and faculty. The official festival website www.hygienemusicandartsfestival.org is days from going live with a list of all the musicians and artists. Check out details of all the fun events, food and drink planned! Come test your throwing arm and dunk a fireman in the dunk-tank.

I’m very happy to have been asked to do an opening set for the wonderful Longmont Duet of Tim Ostiek and Jenny Bolagna. Butterscotch is a sweet live music venue in the backyard and in small house-concert style as well as an educational facility with various instrumental teachers including voice.
